Question to the Wales Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, what comparative assessment he has made with Cabinet colleagues of energy costs in (a) Wales and (b) the rest of the UK.

The most recent data demonstrates that households in Wales pay a price broadly on par with the average across Great Britain. This Government has announced unprecedented support to protect households and businesses from high energy prices, including the recent extension of the Energy Price Guarantee. Our support has covered almost half of the typical household energy bill.
