Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what is their estimate of the proportion of future household growth that will be driven by the existing non-UK born population; and to what extent that proportion was taken into account in preparing the 2014-based household projections in England, 2014 to 2039.

The 2014-based household projections for England took account of net migration and growth of the existing population as shown in the ONS population projections for the same period. The population and household projections are not disaggregated by country of birth.

Responsibility for Household Projections transferred from this Department to the Office for National Statistics in January 2017.
