22 Mar 2023, 5:04 p.m. Come on @Nigel_Farage. #Boris did NOT say PARTIES were essential. He said that work place gatherings at short notice were sometimes necessary in pressing circumstances. That was allowed under the rules and guidance. ? https://t.co/haSlFwdna3 Link to Original Tweet |

22 Mar 2023, 5:48 p.m. After the @metpoliceuk investigation, the #SueGray Report, a 10 month investigation + these hours of cross questioning this afternoon by the #PrivilegesCommittee, any reasonable person would conclude that Boris did not knowingly mislead @HouseofCommons. 26 Mar 2023, 6:09 p.m. @barrymc2010 @DanielJHannan @HoCPrivileges This is a quote from the OpEd by @DanielJHannan in @Telegraph. The point being made - that I happen to agree with - is that a committee made up entirely of MPs who act as prosecutor, judge + jury of whether to recommend a sanction for the conduct of a fellow MP isn’t a good look.
